Services are available for kids 6 months to 18 years .

 

Articulation.

Articulation therapy focuses on your child’s production of specific speech sounds. If your child has difficulty producing sounds such as “s” or “r,” direct instruction and fun personalized practice may be right for them.

 

School age language.

Children in elementary or middle school may benefit from language therapy to develop vocabulary, listening skills, narrative (storytelling) skills, reading comprehension, syntax, and gramma. Sessions are interactive and fun, focusing on functional goals that will help your child succeed at home and school.

Motor Speech.

Motor speech therapy can help improve communication and clarity for children who have trouble forming words or are otherwise difficult to understand. Fun sessions and customized home practice will be provided.

 

Social communication.

Speech and language therapy is about more than just speech clarity, it’s about quality of communication. Social communication sessions focus on emotion vocabulary, turn taking, self-regulation, initiating play with peers, interaction, and self-advocacy. These sessions are collaborative, taking into account the client and family’s individual goals, while working from a neurodiversity affirming perspective. Call to learn more.

Preschool language.

For children under 3 who are not speaking, or are not meeting their language milestones, preschool language therapy may be beneficial. Sessions involve toys, play, and parent involvement.

 

Literacy.

Speech-language pathologists are experts on all things related to sound, including the letters of the alphabet, the sounds they make, and the rules around how these sounds combine to make words.
